In 1978, Palm Harbor Civic Club members, under the direction of
Jeannette Malouf, started a library with a collection of donated books and a
staff of volunteers. At present the Palm Harbor Library is a tax supported
library with a collection of over 122,000 volumes. Volunteers still help to
operate the library under the supervision of the library director and staff.
A much more complete History of the Palm
Harbor Library is also available.
