AARP Webplace - "AARP is a nonprofit membership organization of persons 50 and older dedicated to addressing their needs and interests. We seek through education, advocacy, and service to enhance the quality of life for all by promoting independence, dignity, and purpose."

FirstGov for Seniors - "FirstGov for Seniors site will help users access all government sites that provide services for senior citizens, such as SSA, Health Care Financing Administration, the Administration on Aging, the Department of Veterans Affairs, etc. There are also links to all federal agencies and all 50 States." 

Resource Directory for Older People - "A cooperative effort of the National Institute on Aging and the Administration on Aging.  The directory contains names, addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers of organizations which provide information and other resources on matters relating to the needs of older persons."

Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) - "a part-time employment program for low-income persons age 55 or over. Program participants work at community and government agencies and are paid the Federal or State minimum wage, whichever is higher. They may also receive training, and can use their participation as a bridge to other employment positions which are not supported with Federal funds."
