What is the Business Assistance Center?
Mission Statement The Palm Harbor Library's Business Assistance Center is dedicated to assisting the business and entrepreneurial community of Palm Harbor. The Library staff and the Business Assistance Specialist provide information, assistance and advocacy to facilitate and advance the business development process through print media, electronic resources and training via telephone or in person.
Who We Are The Palm Harbor Library in conjunction with the Greater Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce and Pinellas County Economic Development has implemented a Business Assistance Center to assist existing businesses and provide information for new businesses to flourish in our community. The purpose of the Business Assistance Center is to provide information on starting and/or growing a business in Pinellas County and its partnering communities. Assistance can include business plan development, identification of financing sources, permitting, zoning and government regulations information, workforce development and more. These services are provided at no charge. Our Business Assistance Specialist is trained to provide technical assistance on issues ranging from business start-ups to major expansion and relocation. The Business Assistance Center provides a vital link between Pinellas County businesses and the numerous organizations and programs available to assist them, as well as the regulatory agencies with which they must comply. Our Business Assistance Specialist also provides information to assist local companies seeking to export their products, and foreign companies who would like to establish operations in our community.
