Teens

Whether it be the latest young adult fiction title, a productive space to collaborate on a homework project, or top-of-the-line gaming computers, you can find all that and more in the Frank A. Weiner Teen Room!

Youth Advisory Board (YAB) – Our Youth Advisory Group is the backbone of all of our teen programming and services. These teens help us decide on books, pool together their various talents for our programs, both large and small, and volunteer their time both traditionally in meetings and exceptionally in our events.

Teen Readers Advisory Board (TRAB) – This group is for teens that LOVE to read! You must fill out an application and be accepted to participate. TRAB meets monthly to discuss current YA literature and helps the staff with collection development. If interested, please email Kiki Durney (kiki@phlib.org) for an application and details.

Volunteering at the Library – Teens must be 14 years or older to volunteer. Hours count for Bright Futures requirements. Please email the volunteer coordinator (volunteer2330@gmail.com)  for an application and details.
