Florida: A History in Pictures, which began as a spin-off of the Facebook group Historic Florida, was completed and published near the end of 2022. Since which its authors Mike McGinness and Jeff Davies have criss-crossed Florida speaking to historical societies, museums, history centers, and bookstores in addition to interviews with NPR, Florida newspapers and broadcast stations. Their Facebook group, renamed to match the book’s title, has more than 200,000 members.
