March’s featured artist in the John Brock Art Alcove is Sharon Nelson-Bianco!
Sharon Nelson-Bianco has had many jobs including caterer, personal assistant, paralegal, HTML programmer, Webmaster and Town Clerk but painting has been her lifelong passion. She has been a professional artist for forty years and has been active in many art organizations. She earned a degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago in Studio Arts (Fine Art Painting) with a minor in Photography. Her enthusiasm is painting wildlife, landscapes, ponds, the sea and abstracts in oils, acrylics, and watercolors.
In art organizations, she has chaired and judged shows, served on art boards, and taught classes. She currently is a member of art organizations in Dunedin, Sarasota, Tampa, and Venice.
