Welcoming Week is Back! 9/8 – 10/7

An annual drive for Pinellas refugees.

In the spirit of Welcoming Week, Largo Public Library, Palm Harbor Library, and Barbara S. Ponce Public Library will be collecting in-person and online donations for local refugee families in need from September into October . All donations will be distributed to Pinellas refugee families through local organizations.

Palm Harbor Library will have a collection basket in our lobby from September 8th until October 7th. Thanks in advance!

Please donate NEW AND UNUSED items only.

– Bath in a Basket:

Bath and hand towels/ washcloth/ toothbrush/ toothpaste/ bar soap/ deodorant/ razor/
shampoo/ conditioner/ comb or brush/ toilet paper/ laundry detergent/ cleaning products/ laundry basket/ trash bin or
storage container.

– Youth Support Basket

Coloring books/ crayons/ pencils/ notebooks/ chalk/ reading books/ English flashcards/ backpack/ toys/ laundry basket or storage container.

– Teen Support Basket

YA books/ notebooks/ school supplies/ sports equipment/ feminine products/ deodorant/  backpack/ laundry basket or storage container.

– Kitchen in a Basket

Paper towels/ dish towels/ pack of sponges/ dish soap/ paper plates/ silverware/ trash bags/ window cleaner/ kitchen spray cleaner/ measuring cups or spoons/ laundry basket or storage container.

– Baby & Mother Support Basket

Diapers/ baby wipes/ diaper rash cream/ baby bottle/ onesies/ pacifiers/ toy/ laundry basket or storage container.
