Project Gutenberg: This site offers over 60,000 Ebooks for free, many of which are older and no longer under copyright. Used by many educators, the Lexile framework is a rating scale for reading levels. Use this link to determine a book’s assigned Lexile or to find book suggestions.

Scholastic Reading Counts: Reading Counts is another rating scale for book levels. Books that are assigned Reading Counts points have comprehension quizzes that students are often asked to complete.

Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County: An organization established by the Florida Legislature to strengthen children and families in the community.

American Academy of Pediatrics: An organization committed to the optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being of children of all ages.

Zero To Three: Infants, Toddlers, and Families: Resources and recommendations for caregivers of infants and toddlers.

Common Sense Media: An easy-to-use site where caregivers can search for books, movies, and more to determine if they are age-appropriate for their children.

The Conscious Kid: A site dedicated to equity and promoting healthy racial identity development in kids. A government site to connect caregivers with health insurance for their children. Created by the nonprofit healthcare system Nemours, this site offers separate sections for parents, kids, teens, and educators featuring articles, videos, and other health resources.

ASAN (Autism Self Advocacy Network): A site dedicated to providing information about Autism run by and for people living with it.

The Trevor Project: A site from the leading national organization providing guidance to LGBTQ+ youth.
