Cameras & Coffee
Join us for a monthly discussion about photography in relation to the Palm Harbor Library Photography Contest. We’ll focus on the technical and aesthetic aspects of composition, and how to present your photograph for the Palm Harbor Photography Contest. We’ll also discuss the rules of the contest and answer any questions. Print your photographs for an opportunity to peer review your work with other photographers.
First Monday of each month from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Ages 13+. No registration or library card needed.

Contest Rules

1. Monochrome or color photographs on photographic paper shall be submitted.
2. Frame size limitation: 30 x 40 inch frame maximum and a 8 x 10 inch frame size minimum. Maximum
image size is 24 x 30 inches.  All photographs must be matted and framed, and those photographs
not meeting these requirements will be disqualified.
3. A completed application, firmly attached to the back of the frame, must accompany each photograph
at the time of the submission.
4. Two submissions maximum; one application per submission.
5. You must be at least 13 years of age to apply.
6. The last day to submit entries is Monday, May 18, 2026, by 6:30 pm. Winners will be announced June 1st, 2026 at the monthly “Cameras & Coffee” event.
7. The accepted entries will be determined by the “Photographic Selection Committee” composed of
individuals selected by the contest facilitator, and all submission and judging decisions are final.
8. All submissions should be family-friendly and suitable for public library viewing.
9. Palm Harbor Library is not responsible for damage to entries, including frames, matting, or
photographs.
10. All entries must be retrieved by June 30, 2026 or their entries will be forfeited to PHL.
